If you’re in search of a gentler pace, head to neighbouring Legian which features beautiful Double Six Beach, fun filled Waterbom Bali Water Park and colourful shops, boutiques, and craft markets. A little further on you will find Seminyak, offering a small-town atmosphere and easy tempo, with beaches overlooking lush rice paddy fields - perfect for walks on the beach. Not to be outdone, Seminyak also has a range of cafes and restaurants as well as an active nightlife.  

Ubud in Bali’s densely forested interior is regarded as the jewel in the magnificent mountains and is home to temples, holy shrines, bustling craft markets, outdoor restaurants, and verdant rice fields on precipitously steep hills. Be sure to make a day trip to Ubud or better still, stay in one of the many hotels or luxury resorts in the area.
