ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Arrive and overnight in Edinburgh

DAY 2: Edinburgh to Fort William
Your journey begins as you depart from Edinburgh, passing by the imposing Stirling Castle, steeped in centuries of history. Catch sight of the famous Wallace Monument, a tall-standing tribute to a legendary Scottish hero. Our first stop takes us to the charming Highland village of Callander. Continuing through the rugged lands of the Rannoch Moor, we arrive at Glen Coe, a true Highland icon boasting heart-stopping beauty and history. Watch how stunning landscapes unfold before you as we drive along the 'Road to the Isles'; a road that brings together a series of truly iconic and breath-taking destinations.

One of those places is the Glenfinnan Viaduct, known to Harry Potter fans as a magical railway route to Hogwarts. You'll soon find yourself traversing its striking arches aboard the Jacobite Steam Train from Mallaig!
Anticipation builds as we prepare to embark on the steam train -a two-hour train ride celebrated as the world's greatest railway journey along Scotland's magnificent west coast.
We disembark the Jacobite Steam Train in Fort William in the evening, where we settle in for the night.

DAY 3: Fort William to Edinburgh
En route to Loch Ness, we pause at the Commando Memorial, offering panoramic views of Britain's tallest mountain, Ben Nevis. Your journey takes you through the captivating landscapes of the Great Glen before arriving at the shores of Loch Ness. Here, you have the option to embark on a boat cruise, seeking an encounter with the legendary Nessie.

Our next destination is Inverness; the capital of the Highlands and a perfect spot to enjoy lunch and recharge for the last stretch of our journey. You will visit the Culloden Battlefield, where you will learn about the pivotal Battle of Culloden during the Jacobite Uprising in 1746. Heading south, we traverse the beautiful Cairngorms National Park, stopping in Pitlochry.
As you then approach Edinburgh in the evening, you are treated to the sight of the iconic Forth Bridges, a fitting farewell to our Highland getaway.
