Getting there

The Midlands is reached from Durban via the N3 (1 hour, 14 mins).
From Johannesburg, the trip will take you 4.5 hours via the N3.
The Pietermaritzburg Airport is situated just 15 minutes away.

What must I pack?

With hot, humid summers and cold winters (with snow nearby), be sure to pack the appropriate clothing.
Don’t forget sunscreen, lip balm, hat and sunglasses for summer holidays.
Always travel with a mini first aid kit and regular prescription medication.
