Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge (meaning Place of the Rock) nestles on the slopes of an ancient volcano in the Big Five Pilanesberg National Park. 198km from O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg).
Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge offers luxury within the untamed wilderness, ensuring guests enjoy all the comforts of home in the bush. Each of the 90 luxury rooms has air-conditioning, television, tea/coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom. Kwa Maritane offers a myriad of activities, including outdoor chess, a floodlit bush-putt course, 2 all weather floodlit tennis courts, a volleyball court and indoor table tennis and pool tables. All of this compliments the more traditional wildlife experiences of a bush lodge, from guided game drives by day and night to bush walks. Enjoy the unique 180 metre underground tunnel leading to a hide overlooking a waterhole, which is the perfect vantage point for an intimate look into the African wilderness, your presence undetected by the animals that frequent the waterhole.
