Day 1
Croatia Cruise - KL1 Route
Cruising with motor ships along the magnificent Kvarner Bay of islands on the route: KL1: OPATIJA - KRK - RAB - ZADAR - MOLAT or OLIB - (Ilovik) LOSINJ - CRES - OPATIJA.

A + Category: fully air-conditioned, spacious en-suite cabins (with double or twin beds) on newly built ships (price includes captain's dinner and guided sightseeing of Zadar).

Cruise rate includes:
7 nights/8days accommodation.
Half Board (breakfast and 3 course lunch) plus 1 litre of water daily.
Captain's dinner.
Sightseeing of Zadar.
Daily cabin service and mid-week fresh set of towels and bed linen.

Excluded:
Visitors tax and Port fees are not included (to be paid on the spot) EUR25 per person per week.

English breakfast Supplement - per week including 2 eggs, bacon, tomato and mushrooms, or fruit and Yogurt or similar (regular continental breakfast included in price of the cruise includes: coffee, tea, milk, glass of juice, cereal, bread, a variety of spreads, butter, honey, jam, soft cheese, daily additions such as ham and cheese or boiled eggs, frankfurters, salami etc.). Hot and cold buffet breakfast included on A+ category ships.
Airport transfers - Prices from EUR 40 per transfer (up to 3 pax) from Dubrovnik airport or Dubrovnik port, EUR50 per transfer (up to 3 pax) from Split airport to Split port, in Opatija various airport possibilities (Zagreb, Trieste, Ljubljana, Venice) - price on request
Full Board supplement per person per week (gross), min.10 pax required.
Extra towels - On A+ category ships, guests will be provided with two towels for personal use per week. Extra towels can be rented for Euro 3 and beach towels at Euro 5 per towel per week.

Saturdays at 13h00 - check in from 11h00 until 12h00.

For this trip all you will need is a few T-shirts and a swimming costume to spend seven unforgettable days sailing on the southern Adriatic Sea from one island to another. Relax and let the captain and his crew (especially the cook) take care of you. During the day you can swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and explore the underworld of the Adriatic Sea. The evenings you have free to find a good restaurant or discover old churches or other historical monuments.

Itinerary:
Saturday: OPATIJA - KRK ISLAND
Departure at 13h00 with lunch on board followed by a swim stop in the crystal clear sea on route to KRK island - the largest of the Croatian islands. KRK has immense variety in its villages large and small; gentle green promenades bare rocky wilderness, tiny islands and hundreds of hidden bays and beaches. Evening at leisure to enjoy numerous cafes and restaurants alongside the waterfront. Overnight in town of KRK Island.

Sunday: KRK ISLAND - RAB ISLAND
After breakfast cruise towards Rab island known as the "island of love". Sightseeing of town encircled by medieval walls, Romanesque church towers, churches, palaces, stone streets and ancient facades. Enjoy the "gallery" on the streets and squares and try famous Rapska torta cake, it is a must. If the time allows walk up to Kamenjak hill to enjoy the magnificent sunset. Overnight in town of Rab.

Monday: RAB ISLAND - ZADAR
Morning cruise from Rab towards Zadar along Pag Island with a swim stop on the tiny Maun Island. Enjoy guided tour of the city, which was for centuries the metropolis of Dalmatia, and today the centre of the region. Zadar is rich in monumental heritage of world importance visible on every step. Here you can see The Roman forum dated to the 1st century AD, the church of St. Donatus dated to the 9th century AD - the most famous Medieval basilica and the symbol of the city, the mighty city walls with representative Port and Land gates from the 16th century AD, and numerous palaces, villas. The town is full of great restaurants packed in the centre. Of special interest are the famous Zadar Sea Organs, one of a kind in the world and "The Greeting to the Sun" light installation. Overnight.

Tuesday: ZADAR - MOLAT ISLAND or OLIB
Early departure for Molat or Olib Island (depending on available space in the small harbours). Both islands are situated in the northern part of Zadar's archipelago where one can enjoy peace and serenity. Captain's dinner party on board and overnight.

Wednesday: MOLAT ISLAND or OLIB - ILOVIK - LOSINJ ISLAND
After breakfast and morning swim, cruise towards Ilovik, the island of flowers for a short stop before departing for Losinj Island, one of the most popular islands on the northern Adriatic due to the abundance of pine trees and clear waters. Mali Losinj is known as the "sunshine island". On arrival take a walk along the harbour or walk up to the Losinj Aromatic Garden or simply visit nearby, picturesque, town of Veli Losinj. Overnight in Mali Losinj.

Thursday: LOSINJ ISLAND - CRES ISLAND
After a morning swim leave for Cres Island, a long and narrow island covered with oak, beech and pine forests as well as wine yards and olive tree plantations. Cres and Mali Losinj used to be one island but a channel dug by the Romans separated them. Spend the night in the harbour of this typical medieval town Cres.

Friday: CRES ISLAND - OPATIJA
After breakfast we leave for Opatija. On route we can experience the spectacular views of famous Opatija Riviera. Late afternoon arrival to Opatija for a stroll along the famous Franz Joseph promenade - Lungo Mare to the numerous cafes and restaurants in Opatija or nearby fishermen's village Volosko - well known for excellent seafood restaurants, the best in the region, as well as among the best in Croatia. For your last night on board we recommend a farewell party on the ship, a great opportunity for exchanging addresses with other passengers who have by now become your new friends.

Saturday: OPATIJA
After breakfast say goodbye to the crew and hope to see you again aboard Katarina Line cruises.

Saturday - OPATIJA - KRK ISLAND
Departure at 13h with lunch on board. Krk is the largest Croatian island and on route we stop to swim in the most crystal clear water you may ever have seen. Krk has diverse villages of various sizes, stunning promenades, dramatic rock faces with tiny islands and hundreds of hidden bays and beaches. There is a buzz along the waterfront of Krk Town. Enjoy the many bars or restaurants there and relax.

Sunday - KRK ISLAND - RAB ISLAND
After breakfast, we cruise towards Rab Island known as the island of love. On arrival, join a guided tour (included on Premium) to see imposing stone walls and Romanesque church towers, churches, palaces, stone streets and ancient facades. Many streets and squares are like open-pair galleries, as artists work outside. Do not miss the famous Rapska torta cake (the recipe is secret, tasting included for Premium). If weather permits, walk up to Kamenjak hill and watch the magnificent sunset.

Monday - RAB ISLAND - ZADAR
Morning cruise from Rab towards Zadar, travelling by Pag Island with its unusual moon-like landscape. We stop to swim on tiny MAUN Island. In Zadar, there is an optional guided tour (included on Premium). The city is today the centre of the region and was the metropolis of Dalmatia region for many centuries. The rich cultural heritage is visible at every turn: The Roman forum, which dates to the 1st century AD, the church of St. Donatus, dating to the 9th century AD - the most famous medieval basilica and the symbol of the city. The imposing and mighty city walls with representative Port and Land gates are from the 16th century AD, and there are numerous palaces and villas of former noble families. Great restaurants line part of the waterfront and the centre of town. Famous, contemporary creations are the Zadar Sea Organ, one of a kind in the world (listen to the sound) and The Greeting to the Sun light installation.

Tuesday - ZADAR - MOLAT ISLAND or OLIB
Early departure for Molat or Olib island (depending on available space in the small harbours) in the northern part of the Zadar archipelago. Think pure peace and serenity. Tonight it's the Captain's dinner party on board and overnight here.

Wednesday - MOLAT ISLAND or OLIB - ILOVIK - LOSINJ ISLAND
After breakfast and a morning swim, we cruise towards Ilovik. It may have only a few hundred inhabitants but Ilovik has lovely bays and clear water. We make a short stop before leaving for Losinj known as sunshine island and abundance of pines, wild flowers and herbs. Losinj is one of the most popular islands on the northern Adriatic waters for its hidden coves and cool Mediterranean vibe. On arrival, stroll along the pretty waterfront or walk up to the Loinj Aromatic Garden full of indigenous herbs and plants. The smaller town of Veli Losinj is easy to reach if you want to explore on foot.

Thursday LOSINJ ISLAND - CRES ISLAND
We leave for Cres Island after our morning swim. This unspoiled island is long and Narrow Island with olive groves, vineyards, forests of oak, beech and along with some, remarkable stalls. Cres and Mali Losinj was once one island before the Romans dug a narrow channel to separate them. Spend the night in the harbour of this typical medieval town Cres with hidden squares and courtyards.

Friday - CRES ISLAND - OPATIJA
After breakfast, we leave for Opatija. The famous Opatija Riviera is best seen from the sea. We arrive in late afternoon. Stroll the longest lungomare (seaside promenade) in Croatia or stop in Volosko, a traditional fishing village with some of the best fish restaurants in the country. On your last night on board, maybe have a farewell party under the stars. This would be a great time to swap contact details with your new friends and plan your return. Many people come back, repeatedly.

Saturday OPATIJA
After breakfast, say goodbye to the crew. We hope to see you again aboard Katarina Line cruises.
