Day 01
Arrive in Beijing, the nation's spiritual heart for the last seven centuries. On arrival, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China and has a population of over 17 million. It is a favoured city of wide, tree-lined boulevards with both ancient and modern neighborhoods. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 02
Beijing (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Today's sightseeing revels legacies of the nations illustrious juxtaposed with symbols of progress. Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city square, line with monumental public buildings, fronts the legendary once Forbidden City, whose acres of splendid 15th century halls and pavilions graced with imperial treasures now comprise the Palace Museum. The Temple of Heaven is a group of 15th century ceremonial buildings, which is the consummate expression of the philosophy that architecture is music in space.
Day 03
Beijing (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
A memorable daylong excursion combines a visit to the soul-stirring Great Wall at Badaling Section, winding dragon-like across northern China - only earthly evidence of men, visible from space. Drive along the Sacred Way, guarded by sculpted stone animal both real and fabulous, which are a photographer's delight, to the Ming Tombs.
Day 04
Beijing and Xi'an (Breakfast and dinner)
Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a morning visit to the Summer Palace, a breath-taking arrangement of lake and landscape, pagodas and pavilions. A boat ride on the Kunming Lake inside the palace, which was ordered to be built by using the fund planned to build the Chinese navy in the 1900s. Transfer to airport and flight to Xi'an, ancient capital for 11 imperial dynasties and the cradle of Chinese civilisation. On arrival, you are met and transferred to the hotel.
Day 05
Xi'an (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Experience the thrill and awe of seeing the individually sculpted faces of thousands of life-sized terra cotta warriors. Farmers accidentally discovered this army, buried with the first emperor for two millennia, including numerous of horses and chariots. More visits including the Huaqing Hot Spring, a magnificent summer residence for Tang emperors. Finish the day with a Tang Dynasty Palatial dinner and show.
Day 06
Xi'an and Shanghai (Breakfast and dinner)
Enjoy a morning visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Bell Tower and the Great Mosque with its surrounding alleys and shops. Transfer to airport and flight to Shanghai, largest city in China with a population of 15 million and gateway through which modern life entered China. On arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy dinner and a tour to the Bund, the former foreign settlement, ranged along with imposing buildings of the colonial period and enjoy a walk along the Nanjing Road, praised as the '5th Avenue' of the East.
Day 07
Shanghai (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Sightseeing includes rich collections at the Shanghai Museum, the Jade Buddha Temple, and the beautiful Yuyuan Garden at the 'Old Quarter'. Tonight, see the world famous Shanghai Acrobatic Performance.
Day 08
Depart Shanghai (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning is free at your own leisure. Transfer to airport to catch up your onwards flight.
