Nestled in the hills of the Pilanesberg is a place like no other - The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City. 291km from O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg).The rooms and suites of the Palace are uniquely decorated to reflect the rich flora and fauna of the area. Standard rooms have entrance foyers, en-suite bathrooms, seating areas, air-conditioning, television, safe, telephone, Mini bars and tea/coffee making facilities.The Palace of the Lost City is a fantasy world of incredible jungle, cliff-tumbling gardens, sparkling streams, waterfalls, swimming pools and entertainment areas. One of the worlds best hotels in every regard, it includes the Valley of Waves, the only sub-tropical water adventure park in Africa and a world class health spa. Superb cuisine is offered in the two top class restaurants at The Palace. Elegant bars and lounges provide the perfect atmosphere for casual pre and after dinner drinks. A variety of conference venues are available. The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City is also a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Please Note: The Gary Player Country Club is closed every Monday for maintenance. The Lost City Country Club is closed every Tuesday for maintenance. The Gary Player Golf Course will be closed from the 08th Oct 17 in preparations for the 2017 Nedbank Golf Challenge scheduled from 09 - 12 Nov 17. The GPGC is fully booked from 13 - 22 Nov 17 (inclusive) subject to change with no prior notice. Tusk Bar & Lounge: High Tea will be served at Tusk Bar & Lounge from Sunday to Thursday 15h00-17h00 except on Friday and Saturdays when it will be served at Crystal Court. Cultural Village: The Cultural village is closed until further notice. Please note: While the family rooms can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children under 17 years of age, for older children we would suggest taking 2 rooms due to space constraints.
