The newly refurbished Cabanas hotel is situated at the Sun City Waterworld Lake, offering guests a contemporary twist and great 'base' to explore the resort. As the sun sets over the open spaces and rolling lawns the nights begin at the Cabanas Pool Deck, with chic cocktails and a vibrant island setting The hotel offers unbeatable value for money with all the modern conveniences in each hotel room. The family cabanas offer modern up market dcor and are fully air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, television, Tea/coffee making facilities and telephone. Choose from 24 standard lake-facing rooms, 120 standard twin rooms, 32 family lake-facing rooms, 201 family standard rooms and 3 accessible rooms. All bathrooms come standard with a shower only. From the swimming pool and pool bar, it is a short walk to the shores of Waterworld, where guests can enjoy a great variety of watersports, from wind-surfing and jet-skiing to water-skiing. Guests can also enjoy a game of tennis or squash or relax at the spa facility. The hotel offers themed buffets at the Palm Terrace and light daytime fare is served at the Grande Pool Bar. Please note: The Gary Player Country Club is closed every Monday for maintenance. The Lost City Country Club is closed every Tuesday for maintenance. Please note that the Welcome Centre will be closed from 19 Jun - 21 Aug 17 (inclusive); although every effort will be made to lessen the refurbishment period. Concessionaires will be temporarily based inside Sun Central for the duration of the refurbishment. Child policy: A maximum of 2 children 17 years and younger can share a Family room with 2 adults and will be accommodated free of charge inclusive of breakfast. Please note: While the family rooms can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children 17 years and younger, for older children we would suggest taking 2 rooms due to space constraints.
