Travel Advisor (Intermediate to Senior level)

We are on the lookout for customer centric, Travel Advisors nationally, who are self-motivated, creative, positive, organised and experts in creating FIT Holiday packages and meeting sales targets. Must have excellent travel and tourism product and geographical knowledge – we are looking for specialists who have a passion for the product they are selling, areas include South Africa, Africa and International product range and must have GDS experience.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 years’ practical experience in reaching sales targets in retail or outbound wholesale travel consulting environment and travelled
• Travel or Tourism Certificate an advantage
• GDS experience with Amadeus an advantage
• Passionate about customer service – practical working experience in working in a sales target driven role
• Excellent travel and tourism product and geographical knowledge – we are looking for specialists who have a passion for the product they are selling
• Experience in constructing FIT holiday packages and itineraries – excellent literacy skills
• Able to meet targets and perform under pressure
• Working knowledge of MS Office Applications - Outlook, Word and Excel
• High accuracy and concentration, focusing on detail with excellent numeracy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good Administrative Skills
• Time Management Skills - Ability to effectively manage time and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be a team player
• Able to work outside normal working hours from time to time
