Little is known about Singapore other than the fact that it’s regarded as a quick layover to go forth on to your final destination. Not knowing much about this amazing destination is reason enough to make a plan to get yourself there whenever possible! This incredible city by the bay has come a long way to reinvent itself to be an iconic city of vibrant contrasts and dazzling surprises.
With so much to see and do, my personal favourites list would be endless so here’s a few of my top picks of things to do in and around Singapore

Indoor Skydiving
If you’re not feeling as adventurous to hurl yourself out of an airplane, iFly Singapore is the ideal place to really experience freefalling!

Garden of the Future
This futuristic vision came to life with the mere thought of creating a city within a garden. This is the very being of Singapore with a neutral place to work and play. This is so much more than just a garden and the only way that you will ever believe me is if you go and see it all for yourself.

Marina Bay Sands & SkyPark
Who says that you have to venture to Vegas to be entertained! From Broadway spectacles to Red Carpet events you will be dazzled by the world-class entertainment at Marina Bay Sands. If you are looking for something that’s slightly different – take a trip up to the Skypark where you can overlook the city from the Observation Deck or take in the view from the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool.

Merlion Park
One of the most iconic images associated with Singapore at the Waterfront is the mythical Merlion – the head of a lion and a body of a fish. This is a metaphorical expression of Singapore’s humble beginnings as a fishing village named after the Malay word for lion.

1-Altitude Gallery & Bar
The tallest bar in the world doesn’t need much hype to draw in the crowds. There is an unforgettable 360° view of the city. In addition to that, there is a palpable vibe here with the local talent and international acts that entertain the guests!

F1 Grand Prix
Perhaps this isn’t featured on everyone’s bucket list but to attend a Formula 1 Grand Prix is something to really behold! From the qualifying to the concerts in the evening to the actual event itself – this is something not to miss!

Tiong Bahru
This is one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in all of Singapore. With many finds along the streets you will be able to shop and dine to your heart’s content. There are also cultural hotspots along the way to enrich the soul.

Orchard Road
Something that the Far East is really renowned for is the shopping – Orchard Road is one of those incredible locations which make Singapore the ideal retail therapy stopover! From enormous malls to departmental stores – Orchard Road truly is A Great Street for your shopping needs!

From the creative to the contemporary, Michelin restaurants to humble street food – Singapore is a feast of flavour that simply cannot be missed!
